NOTE TO EVERYONE: DON'T UPDATE TO 1.8 UNTIL THE SERVER IS READY AND THE PLUGINS ARE FINISHED. Of course, this only applies if you want to play the server recently after the official 1.8 update.

I'm having fun!
I saw 2 Endermen.
One was while I was running for my life with about a dozen mobs chasing me in the night, the other was when an Enderman was burning to death outside my house at daybreak, so I can't say I've had much interaction with them.
Guuuuuuuys get the leak and play Single player for awhile :3
Sometimes the changes might be subtle, but over all this was just refreshing to play.

I've now fought a few Endermen.
Their biggest call to fame is the fact that they teleport to your face when your looking away, quite a surprise. Other than that, Creepers are still the true bosses of griefing :3

I've seen those mines, they are awwwwwwwesome! I got a ton of iron and coal, even a bunch of gold, and a diamond Course I've now lost my god damn house and am on an epic quest to find it derp.

On the way I did find an NPC village, not much to look at for now, but once 1.9 comes out they'll be awesome!
Though I think there might be a slight problem with Notch's village spawning code, mine wound up in a lake, not by it, in it XD
All the houses are above water, but half the village is made of water instead of grass/dirt.

Let's see...those blue spiders are bastards, they hit you once and poison you so your health keeps dropping.
Though man is food freaking awesome in 1.8!
It stacks!
Yes you heard me, mother fucking food now stacks!
Plus if you keep your "food bar" up to max you'll constantly regen health. I think it's a half a heart every second or two?
And there's all sorts of new blocks to play with :3
Including fence gates Haven't had a chance to play with them yet as my house is still lost :<
God damn mineshaft.
On a final note, oceans, they're deep, and absolutely gorgeous

I love how everyone is having fun ! I fought 10 enderman till now! DId not find anything else ANYONE PLEASE GIVE ME A SEED FOR THE VILLAGE I WANT TO SEE IT!

-Over water NPC Villages (x:-700 , Z:150)

-Ravine with Mine shaft (x:-380 , Z:530)

-Awesome, Epic, Perfect place for a huge creation (its a valley) (x:130 , Z:300)

-Big ocean (x:500 , Z:-100)(coordinate just for make u an idea, its really big)

-Swamp biome (just where you spawn)

So far I've found, but haven't explored, quite a few ravines.
Also the swamps are very eerie at night
I made a giant mushroom! The red one. If you destroy the stalk I don't think anything drops, but destroying the red part of it has a chance to drop 0-2 red mushrooms.
You make em by hitting a mushroom with bonemeal.
I don't think I've had this much fun since the first time I played minecraft :3

i built my house in a ravine and found sooooo much iron coal diamonds lapis gold and redstone on my first day

well.... i am trieing to play 1.8 pre. But the prob is that every dirt block is with 2 small fire animations and one portal animation... lol

One day I was digging down and suddenly, there were like, 20 silverfish. What the hecK? they looked like stone at first, break it, and one comes out.

Im Gonna do parkour now with sprinting
btw silverfish blocks will be known as anti griefing blocks

Ok I was asked how to install minecraft 1.8 pre release OK
STEP 1- In windows 7/vista go to start and type %appdata%
STEP 2- Go to .minecraft then click bin
STEP 3- Take a backup of 1.7.3 (optional) By making a folder BACKUPS then drag minecraft.jar into it
STEP 4-[b] DOWNLOAD THE FILE http://assets.minecraft.net/1_8-pre/minecraft.jar
STEP 5- In the bin folder drag the new 1.8 minecraft.jar in!
STEP 6- MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FUN!
