***Spout will be installed in the future.***Tutorial ***

Just a tutorial on how to install spout for when, IF we choose to install it on the server in the future.

In the future the server will block anyone who doest have spout client mod, so i made a tutorial on how to install it.

1. first thing download spout here: http://goo.gl/d81MA

2. go to start and type %appdata% and press enter. navigate to .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar

3. open minecraft.jar with winrar

4. drag and drop the contents from spoutcraft-dev-SNAPSHOT-MC-1.7.3.zip into minecraft.jar

5. close and run minecraft


For Mod users


if you have flymod or any other mod you will have to copy the files from /.minecraft/mods/ into /.spoutcraft/mods/ for them to work

.spoutcraft will appear after you run minecraft with spout installed for the first time.

What do you mean by the /mods folder? Will this mean that we'll only be able to have mods that go in that folder? What I mean is, will we be able to install mods that go into the normal .jar?

If you block everyone that doesn't have it, how would it work with new members wanting to join the server?

Well, maybe what Srh will do is tell everyone on YouTube in the description that you must have Sprout.

What if instead, you just make it so that they can join for the first time as a guest, look around to see if they like the place, then if they want to take the time to become a member (this shows that they are going to most likely be active), then have it that having this plugin's mod is a requirement (aside from making a thread on here and posting your in game name).

Good idea, Mage! This will also make greifers not come here because they have to install Spout!

or since people really want a UK server, we can open a small uk server and install sprout on it, and have people who have sprout play?

i like blueice's idea since i am too lazy to install it
