Notch has stated he has no idea when 1.8 will be released. In fact, at PAX he hinted that it might be a 2 part update, so next one might be called 1.7.4 which will be a small update to sort of fix a few bugs and prepare the game for 1.8, and then later he will release a BIG update (1.8 ). Anyway, what I would like to know is if and when the server will be up to date on it's version status. I know that the server has lots of plugins, and we'll probably have to wait for essential plugins like LWC commands to update to 1.8 (or 1.7.4). Please, when the server get's updated, put it in the forum, "News and Announcements." I know 1.8 wont affect old worlds as well, so what does that mean for the current server world?
