    Does anyone know why my friend fell into "The Gap"? He lost everything and i feel really bad for him Sad

    I believe it happens because the world hasn't loaded properly. When it lags a lot, the world won't load in time, and you just fall past bedrock with no hopes of coming out of it, unless you can fly. Going below bedrock is what is called the "Gap", mainly because there is actually nothing there, nothing was programmed for that space so it was left empty.

    In other simpler words, no floor was under him so he fell through and never landed. The game killed him so he could respawn instead of falling for the rest of his life.

    Yah don't move your character until a fair amount of world has loaded around him.

    i used to have this problem when i had my render distance to high for my comp to handle just change render distances to tiny and is any1 else not able to log in
